Course Description:

The Basic Police Mountain Bike Course is taught by certified International Police Mountain Bike (I.P.M.B.A.) Instructors. Students will be required to complete basic skill development courses. Students will also be required to participate in a group patrol team building exercises and an 8-12 mile road ride.  At the conclusion of this course, participants are required to complete a written test and demonstrate proficiency on a skills practical course.  Upon successful completion, participant’s names will be submitted to IPMBA for Certificates.  This course qualifies for 32 P.O.S.T. training hours.

This basic bike course is a pre requisite for the Advanced Course.  You will receive a course information packet after registration.
